RICCO SLOWBAR Franchise
The first drip coffee franchise in Thailand.
Why choose RICCO SLOWBAR?
It has helped farmers
By opening a Ricco Slowbar drip coffee franchise, you'll be sharing experiences with customers through beverages that tell stories, while also spreading happiness to farmers and helping develop the Thai coffee industry with the "A Cup for Sharing" campaign. For every cup you enjoy, 1 baht will be donated to farmers.
We collect money for donation every year from the villages and communities of our fellow farmers.
For 2020, we will collect and donate the proceeds to Ban Pha Lang School.
And the Ban Phalang Child Development Center.
Location: Ban Pha Lang, Moo 4, Huai Chomphu Subdistrict, Mueang District, Chiang Rai Province
Ban Pha Lang School has 4 teachers (2 male, 2 female) and 19 students. The Ban Pha Lang Child Development Center has 1 teacher and 1 caregiver, and 19 students. *The children's parents are farmers who grow coffee and lychee.
This school is located in a remote area, making travel difficult and access challenging. It also lacks electricity, both for facilities and lighting.
You're not just opening a drip coffee shop franchise; you're becoming part of creating opportunities for children and Thai farming families.

Quality coffee beans, carefully selected at every stage of production.
We offer specialty coffee beans from both Thailand and abroad. Regarding our Thai coffee, we collaborate with farmers to develop flavor profiles; notably, a coffee we co-developed with farmers ranked in the Top 5 at the ASEAN Coffee Competition (Certificate of Quality Coffee 2019). When you franchise a drip coffee shop with us, you can be confident in the quality, as Ricco Slowbar applies the following standards to all our beans, whether domestic or imported:
Ricco Slowbar’s Coffee Quality Selection Process and Standards
1) Physical Grading & Sensory Evaluation (SCA Protocol): We conduct physical bean grading and sensory evaluation (cupping) to assess green coffee quality according to Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) standards. These evaluations are performed by Q-Arabica Graders certified by the Coffee Quality Institute (CQI).
Selected beans must be clean and possess distinct, complex flavor profiles.
2) Roasting Profile Selection: Coffee beans from different origins and varieties possess unique physical characteristics, densities, moisture levels, and other factors. These differences affect how the beans respond to heat energy (temperature/flame), resulting in distinct and non-simultaneous molecular changes. Therefore, for each specific coffee, we conduct experimental roasts using various methods (multiple profiles) and compare the results to select the optimal profile for those specific beans.
3) Brewing Recipe: Once we have secured high-quality beans, the role of the barista or brewer is to present and convey the coffee experience through the final cup. Different brewing recipes yield distinct flavor profiles, and coffees from various origins and varieties react differently to extraction variables. Ricco Slowbar has therefore developed specific recipes designed to highlight the most distinct flavor characteristics of each coffee and shares these recipes and brewing guidelines with franchisees for every coffee variety. Consequently, those who open a Ricco Slowbar drip coffee franchise can be confident in the quality and consistency of the taste.
